As far as I'm concerned, the only game played between us that has any place in the discussion is last year's game, you guys having stomped a mudhole in our asses, I personally don't take exception to people picking you guys to beat us. But a five game series history, where four of the five games were sixteen or more years ago, simply has no place in the discussion.

The Sunbelt was better than CUSA 1 year since MTSU joined CUSA. That goes back to 2005. Thats anamoly, One thing is for sure the Sunbelt is almost always last in every rating since it began in 1996. So yeah 1 year out of 19, thats a stat I would definitely run with like you did with the defensive stats. Bogus selective stats.

Tech crushed Middle in total defense buy yet you bring up a .2 difference in scoring defense. Bogus selective stats

As far as all the other stuff bowl wins, NFL draft picks thats is just there to stir the pot. It definitely has no bearing on the game this year. Good luck to MTSU but Tech crushed Middle last year so who knows how this year will go, at best it is a toss up at this point

And what does Sun Belt vs CUSA have to do with Middle vs Tech? I'm totally baffled by your entire first paragraph. The Sun Belt started football in 2001, we left in 2013, what does 1996 or 2005 have to do with anything? I'm not even trying to be a dick, I honestly have no clue what you are talking about.

You brought up those defensive stats remember, thats when YG chimed in with that Sunbelt crap which is totally bogus btw. So yes MTSU should have more wins than Tech. Tech was playing multiple ranked teams and BCS winners in the WAC while WKU and MTSU were slumming it in the Belch

Okay, the only thing I was speaking specifically on was the all time stuff you were apparently pot stirring with. I honestly didn't even read all the stat comparisons.

My only contention this whole time has been that our all time series, as small and infrequent of a sample it is, just doesn't really belong in the conversation.

How long has it been since one team beat another is far more relevant in annual matchups. If we hadn't beaten you guys since 2000 and we had played even seven or eight times(let alone annually) I'd agree it was relevant, but I digress... Regardless of winner, I expect this year's matchup to be considerably closer.
