We aren't completely broke like most people want to believe. Completely funded by private donations. State funds are not allowed to be used on athletics in MS.
Since we's from Mis'sippi, everyone thinks we's po'... 
Read about us on the AAC board, and you'd think Mis'sippi Southern is a cross between EMCC and the MS State Sanatorium.... 
Not so fast mein freund: An ass't coach came over to Fedora's staff from a PAC 10...errr 12....errr..whatever...school, and said he was blown away with our facilities.
He said toss out the 36K, and we had just about anything any school had on the Left Coast. (of course that was 5-6-7 years ago, but I doubt things have changed that much)
Been all over, and our suites are as nice, or better, than most Div I schools..harrumph!

We didn't, that was all a bunch of BS due to power struggle. F'd the fans for no reason.
