For me it is Tulane. I'm really interested to hear how things are going under Fritz.

USF is second because they have so much talent and seem to be putting things together.

Then, can UCF turn it around.

USF scares the bejezuz outta me this year... i fear my Huskies will get a solid beatdown in Raymond James stadium. But you never know!

I think I could name about any team in the conference honestly. Many teams continue to build. Some we'll see if they can maintain past success. And there's a couple that could go to big time bowls.

If I have to pick one I'll take the homer pick and go with Tulsa. Lots of questions going into year two. We'll see how far this team can go.

Everybody in Tampa is looking forward to the NIU game. It's going to be a tough matchup and I can't wait to see what type of team we have.

Tulane. Coach has 2 losing seasons since he became a coach in 1997. I don't know how bad the teams were when he took over but that doesn't happen by accident. I'm interested to see how Tulane does this year because next year they will make a big competative jump.

Good to hear there's excitement on both ends! Should be a hell of a match up, that RB of yours scares me big time

RE: Which AAC team intrigues you most for 2016?
I think almost everybody in the league is intriguing.

Can Houston go undefeated, or at least have another spectacular season?

Can USF win the league?

Will Temple and UC contend in the East?

Can Navy rebound from losing Keenan Reynolds and a total of 10 players on offense?

Can Memphis rebound from losing Paxton Lynch and its coaching staff?

Can Tulsa continue to get better?

Can ECU or Tulane improve with a new coach?

Can UCF win a few games?

Can UConn continue to improve and have a good year?

What's up with SMU?

You can literally make a case for every team being intriguing, in some fashion.

For SMU, it's can our young talent step up and be competitive sooner rather than later. Last year we were I believe one of the 10 youngest teams in the country. This year our 2 deeps is majority freshman and sophomores.

June left us with a dumpster fire, but Chad Morris is the man.

I have a feeling ECU is going to be terrible this year. Our QB is barely completing 50% of his passes. We're toast.

???

Between the Spring Game and the pair of fall scrimmages, Nelson has completed 29 of 49 passes (59%) for 478 yards. While 59% is below Kemp's completion percentage last year (69%), the offense is different and has fewer super high completion plays and more deep routes, so you really need to look at the other numbers to compare the QBs. Nelson has averaged 9.8 yards per attempt and 16.5 yards per completion, both much higher than Kemp (7.1 YPA, 10.2 YPC). That more than makes up for a 10% drop in completion percentage.

Of course, comparing Nelson's numbers in simulated games against our defense to Kemp's in real games against a variety of defenses is dubious in the end, but the numbers aren't bad enough to make me worry about our QB play this year.

No fun in picking my own, Houston.

I'm gonna go with USF, they seem to be another AAC team most talented this season followed by Cincinnati and Temple.

I have a suspicion that UCF will be an instant turnaround. Exciting offense and a bowl game year 1 would be interesting.... or you know, they could be another train wreck that I can't turn away from like last year. I think UCF is intriguing for the range of possibilities.

USF.... Wanna see if we can finally stay healthy enough to complete a season.
UH... Can they live up to the pressure of a repeat
Tulane. They got a hell of a coach and I think they will go bowling.

I have said several times all these predictions and other fans opinions are skewed by the fact we fired Ruff. When he was let go everyone said "you played so good, came close to beating so many good teams and all this with a 3rd and 4th string QB, ECU was close to being very good last year..." If all that we have returning was back and Ruff was still here we'd be picked to compete for the East title with the EXACT same team we have this year.

People see a new coach and automatically think rebuild. Not the case, the team is there for Mo to come in a win 7-9 games.

All the above except--Can UCF win a few games?

Should read---Can UCF win it all? Why limit your goals before the season even starts. There is plenty of time to back peddle. Last season was a great season for the AAC. I'm just disappointed UCF didn't really compete 2 years after winning the Fiesta Bowl. I believe this season begins a remarkable turnaround for UCF. 04-rock
