Both neighborhoods at the east end of Navy road, one on the right and one a little further down on the left passed the old churches are pretty run down. And the one behind the Mapco right before where Millington East elementary used to be. The trailer park by the railroad tracks, the trailer park on the highway. The subsidized housing around Millington South elementary is pretty run down and the apartments at the other end of Bill Knight are not helping the neighborhood where you grew up. The neighborhood behind the transmission shop across from the old phone company. Hell, even the neighborhood by the USA baseball stadium is looking pretty run down. And those are just the ones I can think of off the top of my head. Do the kids from Waverly Farms still go to Millington? That neighborhood is looking just like Northhaven looked back when I was in school in the 90's, maybe even worse.

You forgot Aycock Park. It's taken a turn in the last ten years.

My grandparents still live in Millington View, it seems to vary from street to street over there. Their street is not run down at all but I know some are.

The park itself improved tremendously when they took out the basketball goals. Most of the troublemakers that played ball there didn't live in the neighborhood.

What kind of trouble did they cause?

There were some real hooligans running around there in the early 2000's... Pam Dr was especially rough.

I drove around my old neighborhood in Millington View (Cold Springs) and was shocked at how run down most of the houses were on the block.

I lived on cold springs once upon a time. Have ex-outlaws on it.

Really? I've never seen or heard of any problems on Pam and I am over there fairly often, the majority of houses on Pam have been well kept, there might be a couple after you pass Waycross that are showing their age but for the most part they have held up. From what I have seen, Baker, Shelia, and Juana are where most of the blighted properties are.

Millington view is still nice. There has always been a few houses in there that weren't kept as well as most. I'm sure they're rentals.

Ifedi was cut today by the Bucs.
