Predict your team's average 2016 home attendance
As the title says, what do you think the average attendance will be for your team? Actual and reported.

GS 21450. The midweek games kill attendance. Plus no big pic games. Hoping for more, but could easily be less.

IDK - App will draw well for a mid-week game and if ULL and Troy do a little better this season we could have good crowds for those as well.

I say ULL & Troy 6-6 or better - 22,600

ULL & Troy below .500 - 20,000

25,500 or so for us. Possibly higher as the bulk of our home schedule is early when weather is great.

RE: Predict your team's average 2016 home attendance
We have the perfect schedule for high attendance numbers in 2016:

1. MIAMI
2. All Saturday home games
3. No Thanksgiving weekend game

Last year we averaged 21,459 with 2 Thursday home games and a Thanksgiving weekend game.

Game by game prediction:

ODU - 26,000
Miami - 34,000
Georgia State - 25,000
Idaho (Homecoming) - 27,500
Texas State - 24,000
UL-Monroe - 21,000

Average - 26,250

BUT weather always affects at least one game in Boone, so adjusting for weather, I'll put us right around 25,000 even.

This number SHOULD be a lot higher with this schedule and the 11-2 season from 2015, but I don't quite have "2006-2010 level" faith in our fan base yet. I'd love to say we are going to put 28-30k in the seats regularly like we did in the dynasty years, but we're not there yet.

RE: Predict your team's average 2016 home attendance
depends on the weather, if we have good weather for most of the home games, and the bump in attendance of the Miami game, 27,500ish, if we start to get some of that famous Boone weather about early October, 24,000 to 24,500.

RE: Predict your team's average 2016 home attendance
since we only have 5 home games I'll go through them all

Savannah State: 24.5k
ULM: 22k
App: 26k (record breaker)
ULL: 23k
Troy: 19k

15k travel to both Ga State and Ga Tech

RE: Predict your team's average 2016 home attendance
just thought of something that could affect our attendance, the Heels have a pretty good team this year, and unfortunately we have a number of alumi who's really loyalty lies with the Heels, so if the Heels keep winning, and start moving up the polls, and they have to choose between App and Heels....well, you fill in the blank.

I heard the same about GS fans who follow the Dawgs for years but truth is most will still come out the watch the Eagles play especially the big games. App has a great home schedule this year so I'll bet you'll still be fine.

Houston should be a sellout. The rest will depend on how good or bad the team is.

I believe you live in Florida and haven't been to Boone in a while. This isn't nearly as prevelant as it was 10 years ago. Now you hardly see unc-ch shirts on campous, especially during football season. I want to play those jerks just one time to make some people choose sides. As far as I'm concerned if they go to Chapel Hell instead of Boone I hope they never come back. They'd taking up a seat that could be used by a real App Fan.

I'd also like to see you win, but if you do the final score will be 76 - 72. You guys are in for a ride. That 3 - 4 D will allow opponents some huge holes to run through.

Our defense was going to give up a ton of yards and points regardless of who the HC is. Now you're saying we have the chance to score 72 points?
