I believe you live in Florida and haven't been to Boone in a while. This isn't nearly as prevelant as it was 10 years ago. Now you hardly see unc-ch shirts on campous, especially during football season. I want to play those jerks just one time to make some people choose sides. As far as I'm concerned if they go to Chapel Hell instead of Boone I hope they never come back. They'd taking up a seat that could be used by a real App Fan.

I'll admit I was in Boone 2 years ago for a game and I couldn't have been more impressed with the game day atmosphere, it was fantastic. As far as our "closet Hills", I agree, if they are going to put their loyalty to Chapel Hill ahead of App, then get off the mountain and leave the seats to App fans who really want them.

I hope it is mostly TSU fans ... and that you guys win!

I'd also like to see you win, but if you do the final score will be 76 - 72. You guys are in for a ride. That 3 - 4 D will allow opponents some huge holes to run through.

Our defense was going to give up a ton of yards and points regardless of who the HC is. Now you're saying we have the chance to score 72 points?

I said to win you'd score 76. Please stop thinking JMU wants anything other than success for you guys. We are just being realistic about what happens with EW running the show. He claims to be a defensive guy, but the results will clearly demonstrate he's anything but.

RE: Predict your team's average 2016 home attendance
Having Troy midweek at home again is going to hurt numbers some.
I think the last time they were here it was on a Friday competing against High School Football, we only had 17,146. I would like to see us play Troy at home one day on a Saturday again. In 2012, attendance for that game was 23,789. I remember there being a lot of Troy fans in 2012.

I'm expected us to average about 18,000. Having San Diego State should help get more local interest here, I'm hoping Ga Southern will bring their fans. I think that last game vs New Mexico could be a low attendance because of SEC championship game if Alabama is playing.

I'd expect us to be about on par with last year (23k), even without the home game against Mizzou.

If we beat Auburn, I'd expect that to rise north of 26k.

Ours is going to be like Texas St.'s. Probable sellout against Southern and then depends on how good we are.

It will be way less than that IMO, this schedule absolutley sucks. Our only big draw will be the openor. App is on a Thurs, we will easily lose 5K that would have come on a Sat game for that one. Probably the same for UL that is on a Thurs now...

We have Troy, ULM and Sav St for Sat games and Troy is a dumb 1PM start. No disrespect to those teams but ULM and Troy were not conference contenders. Will are not going to even meet last years season ticket sales.

Our admin is chasing pennies and losing dollars with this type of scheduling. Only hope to salvage this season is getting a bump late by beating GT and or Ole Miss. GT 60/40, cheating Ole Miss 80/20. Ole Miss with that brutal schedule might pull a South Carolina and just give up by the end of the season if it all crashes down.

My gut tells me 17K and kinda hoping so, so the admin gets a clue.

You're too low considering no cold weather home games this year.

We also have a Friday and a Wednesday game, which will hurt attendance. I think the good weather will make up for that and lacking a home SEC opponent.

Not gonna happen, IMO. I think we will hover around 20,000.

Sav St.:
23,000, New Coach + opening day.

ULM: 19,000, Fall Family Weekend and first home conference game on a Saturday.

App: 24,000, This is the almost the attendance of our 2014 Thursday game against App. It's also the first home game in over a MONTH and if both teams get off to a hot start the attendance will increase.

ULL: 19,500, This will partially depend on our record after the October gauntlet. It's a Thursday, BUT it's also homecoming. So numbers wont be as low as Thursday Night against Troy 2014 (18,300) but they wont be as high as normal homecoming numbers. 2nd half attendance will drop to about 10,000, unless the game is close.

Troy: 17,000, Attendance will definitely suffer for this game. It's the last game of the season, if we have locked up bowl eligibility then there will be a lot of disinterest from fans. What keeps this from being a 15-16k game are the 2,000 or so people who are from out of town that haven't been able to catch a home Saturday game since ULM on September 17.

If App beats Tennessee and/or Miami then all the old bandwagon fans will suddenly return and the App reserved seat will be a hot item. Even without that it should be a record breaking year as the schedule sets up perfectly except for not having GaSo at home.

It will probably be north of 20k in spite of 3 Saturday home games against Savannah State, ULM, and Troy. Which is darn good.

In a year where less than 10 wins is disappointing I think we can squeeze a few folks in to the stadium on a Friday of a 4 day weekend and a Wednesday against the team we've waited 2 years to play.

If not, I'm not sure what we can do.

RE: Predict your team's average 2016 home attendance
AstAte guess:
Friday Sept 2 vs Toledo 25,000 despite High school games...most local HS's are out of town
UCA - Always a nice draw for in-state FCS foe 29,000
Ga So - WED night game...good enough draw to make a decent crowd 21,000
USA at home...depending on our record I'd say 23,000
ULM at home...23,000
NMSU at home...21,000
23,500 average
