Need to start at least 3-0 and win each game by at least 14-20 points. Do not know if BGU still has their offensive team they had last year or not. But SEMO St and KU has to be at least two TDs if not more

Dino Babers left Bowling Green to become Syracuse's HC.

Babers was only there from 2014-15 after Dave Clawson left after 2013 to become Wake Forest's HC.

I think Bowling Green has some stabilization to do before they contend for the conference HOWEVER, the MAC is so loaded on the West - Northern Illinois, Toledo, Western Michigan are the class of the conference and Central Michigan will probably be better than Bowling Green as well. But on the East, it's just BG and Ohio, so they might not drop off much.

Agree, squid. SEMO St. should be no problem, then a week off before getting Kansas and Bowling Green at home. We should be 3-0 heading into Oxford, while the Rebels will have had Florida State, Wofford (almost a 'bye' week), Alabama and Georgia. Rough stretch of games for them.

Past two years our FCS opponent has been garbage. Austin Peay has been the worst program in the OVC for some time and Missouri State was pretty awful last season.

Southeast Missouri was picked a distant fifth (of nine) in the OVC's media days but got enough votes in the FCS poll to rank T37 heading into the season.

I just hate how our off week is after the FCS game and before the worst FBS game.

That five-day stretch after Ole Miss against Temple is going to be rough.
