if we don't get in it will be the final nail in the coffin. Donations will drop, attendance will drop, corporate support will disappear, hope will be lost and we will eventually just wither away. we're all in on this hand and we either win big or walk away from the table penniless

I heard you were in Dallas trying to get SMU in?

turncoat?

That implies there was an original coat to turn.

I'll take that as a yes

I'd like to forget about that empty suit. You keep bringing him back up all of the time for some reason.

He was a puppet. If you can't see that you need to find the hot dog stand that Larry got fired at

Yes, he let the tail wag the dog. Tom Jurich took over at UL right around the same time that RC took over at Memphis. Jurich chose to be a leader and convince the big boosters to do what needed to be done. RC chose to be a puppet and a yes man.

Exactly. He was a follower in a leadership position. He chose that route with boosters and with the pres and with the bb coach.

Jurich can't handle Pitino and surely couldn't handle Cal. They do their own thing.

The Louisville football effort started way before Jurich.

RC didn't get here until 96

Louisville was 5-6 years ahead of us already. I'm not saying RC was worth anything but he only did what he was told.

Plus there were way more politics involved in Memphis. There was/is no bowl game in Louisville. No "classic"'and no NFL drive

It took the money folks 20 years to figure it out. But we aren't allowed to say any of their names on here.

The UofM AD has been a puppet since they got rid of Spook

Speaking of SMU, I read where Sean Touhy, Jr. is gonna play FB and BB at SMU this season.

Silly statement. Jurich is the boss up there. He is probably the only reason that Pitino still has a job. Hell, he was able to win a power play against Denny Crum. He might be the only AD in the country who would have enough pull to rehire Petrino.

The guy was named a VP of the university. He might have more clout at his own school than any AD in the country.

Silly response; everyone knows Pitino runs basketball side of things; or he would NOT still be there.
