My bad. Now that I've seen it I've seen it half of it is the players paying homage to the Peej. Clearly, the video producers know who the star of the show is.

Bill Cubit is a good man and a good coach. But he's gone and he is not coming back.

WMU did the right thing letting him go. The program was never going to win a MAC championship under his leadership. He was owned by CMU (lost 5 straight) and his teams choked in far too many big games (think 2006, 2007 & 2008 when WMU was probably the best team in its division and should have one at least one division and/or league championship).

If PJ does not win the MAC this season or next - and/or loses consistently to a fundamentally inferior CMU program -then he should be held to the same standards as Cubit and be removed.

PJ was hired to change the program's culture and shake-it-up. It had stagnated under Cubit and was never going to reach a championship level. That said, it also never would have dropped to a 1-11 season, but sometimes you have to take one step backwards to move three forward.

I'm not thrilled with PJ's quirks, but his hire was a bold and courageous one by WMU. If it works, great. If not, next-man-in. So far, at least, he owns CMU, and Bonamego knows it (even if Chiprule does not).

WMU's program has got to expect championships and not settle for 2nd and 3rd place seasons. That is who we are and who we need to be as an institution.

Cubit has nothing to do with this. I know the real Peej, and that's how I will judge his character.

"Peej" has enough quirks and faults of his own making (as we all do) without you, and several others, intentionally fabricating new ones. That unfortunately reflects more on your character than his.

There is an old saying about giving a man enough rope....Peej doesn't need your help. He'll either win and leave (as all good MAC coaches do) or be gone in two years because he couldn't win.

I like and respect you, but sometimes you and others take your personal resentment too far.

It's nice to hear the players talk about how the staff, the program, and the experience at WMU has
been a positive one.

It's great the variety of activities which they referred to helped bond the team with the players and coaches.

Looking forward to this season and watching players perform who have developed and matured over the last three seasons.

Well you can judge a man however you want these days. But usually football coaches get judged on WINS on the field, and well PJ has done pretty well in that regards.
