Next year, I believe we play at USC and at MSU.
Who do you think is in the driver seat for QB week 1 next year? I would have to imagine Tom Flacco.
Tom Flacco
Wassink/Little
?
Colin, what do you think?

Wassink would be my bet right now, but it would be a small wager. I just don't see Flacco as a starter for this system.
I've heard that Wassink has incredible physical tools and he is mentally as stable as they come (doesn't get rattled). Has a lot of Tim Hiller in him.

Wassink. The coaching staff really likes him, and he's got the physical attributes to be your prototypical pro-style QB. Flacco will likely continue to be used in his current role as a dual-threat guy, but Wassink will be the starter.

A new coaching staff will have to resolve that issue.

That's a very real possibility.

RE: 2017
As high as expectations are for this season - and I'm in full agreement that the title expectations are fair - we should be even better in 2017.
For all of the hype of the past three talented recruiting classes (I'm not counting P.J.'s first class after being hired), our players from those classes are juniors (or redshirt sophomores) or below this coming season. We don't lose a lot of seniors after this season and will be a much more experienced team heading into 2017. The defense needs to show improvement this season, but most of those players will return a year from now.
Terrell's leadership and experience will be difficult to replace, but there is lots of talent waiting in the wings at QB. Losing Davis will obviously be tough, but other WRs are likely to emerge this season and we should have lots of depth at WR. Moton will be another challenging loss, but again, by this point, there should be lots of talent and depth on the OL.
All of that said, the small chances of having a "dream season" (potentially running the table) are probably higher this season, considering that next year @NW and @Illinois get replaced with @USC and @MSU.

Yeah, I agree. We should be more well-rounded overall next year, but a few very key people replacements won't be as good.
And it's not just that on our schedule.
@NW + @Illinois VS @USC + @MSU
@Toledo + @NIU VS Toledo + NIU
... but two good things. Idaho instead of GA-Southern, and CMU VS @CMU.
