Shouldn't the AAC avoid the stigma attached with becoming CUSA 3.0 or 4.0?

Going to be very interesting what the AAC does if three full time members are lost to the big12.. Many concerns will be brought up before any future member are seriously considered, not going to be easy that's for sure... But good luck to everyone who want in in the AAC.

There is no perfect candidates for the AAC that have Top 10 fb and Top 10 bb.

Something like Wichita State (bb), Northern Ill (fb) and Army (academy) could add a little of everything to the AAC. The bad football of Army and Wichita won't be too bad because it will be a top heavy UCF/USF led football conference. NIU fits nicely into the western division of the AAC with its TV market.

It may be the AAC can create something with 3 schools where the whole is greater than the sum of the individual additions.
