Didn't realize there was a contest. If you need to measure D***$ be my guest.

Not sure where that's coming from pappa. Simple question with a simple answer. Don't like it don't answer.

Play coy all you want, I'm not buying it.

You didn't answer simply. You quantified your fandom with who you bought tickets for instead of just giving the number of tix bought.

Reads as if you don't get tix for members of the community you aren't as good a fan ("let's see what kind of fans we are").

You certainly wanted everyone to know. Here's your cookie. Bravo. You're a good man and a super Dooper fan.

You are wrong but that's not important. Naive maybe but no motive. I keep being stupid enough to thing civil conversations are possible here. Thank you for reminding how hopeless that is.

But I will say if this thread helps somebody decide to buy a ticket for the Services game or for Youth Villages kids then it's worth whatever abuse you want to throw out. Good night.

You're right. This guy is out of line. You're right also that it is hard to have just nice, civil posts.

I'll admit that I find myself being an a--hole myself in reacting to some of our posters.

It's shameful how many nice folks have been run off. Don't let this get you down.

Not down at all. I don't get caught up in people's misery. They have to live with themselves. I figure the guy must have some pain in his life that causes him to lash out. Maybe one day he can get healthy and enjoy life again. Life is too short to waste on that type of anger.

youth villages I THINK are $75 for the season, Serviceman tickets are for a specific game (I forgot which one) and they are $10 each

Pretty sure you can do single games for Youth Villages as well.

Just Google something like Youth Villages Memphis football and it should take you the right place. I am on my phone or I would link it for you.

There are quite a few. The bullies, smarta$$ remarks, lack of civility have made many stop

Speaking of that, you really need to find mom a place with a guest house, garage apt, or at least a renovated attic. This basement needs the Olshan man badly.

A guy like you probably knows Nolan Ryan. Can you put in a good word?

1 for me, 2 for service men and women, 1 for Youth Villages. I'm a working stiff, but I push the hell out of Tiger football to anyone who will listen and many who won't. What's not to love? It's the greatest fun in town.

And I am sorry, but I don't have a dick to show.

WOW...this is incredible. That is serious support. Are u comfortable sharing if this is something you've done for several years or is recent? That's a lot of tickets for one person to provide. As a fellow Tiger fan, I applaud your dedication to Tiger football.

Based on all the feedback on this thread we might just break a record this season for tickets sold.

Very exciting and it proves our fans are all stepping up.

Even if a fan whose never bought before just buys 1 season ticket they are making a HUGE difference

Not everyone can afford to buy extra tickets but I urge everyone to skip a few dinners out to simply purchase what you can within your budget.

So crucial to sell tickets but I think it's even more crucial for people who have never bought a season ticket to do so. This gives our admin real data they can show to the B12. If we can raise the percent of "new season ticket buyers" by 15%+ for 2016 it gives a lot of ammunition to our leaders.

Memphis Football Season Tickets Sales Soaring
Ticket sales up almost 18 percent over the same time last year.

MEMPHIS – The University of Memphis today announced that season ticket sales for the 2016 football season are almost 18 percent higher than at this same time last season.

"Memphis football is on the rise and the city has taken notice. I'd like to sincerely thank our fans for their support and passion for Tiger football," said Athletic Director Tom Bowen. "We have built a successful program and greatly enhanced the game-day experience. That combination has made Memphis football one of the very best family entertainment options in the region."

Over the past few seasons, the Tigers have added to the fan experience through unique giveaways, Tiger Walk, the addition of over 4,000 new chairbacks, Tiger Lane, pre-and post-game concerts, pyrotechnics, increased concession options and locations, new video board, updated suites, and a commitment to customer service.

Season tickets are still on sale and start at just $100 for end zone seats. There is also a selection of the newly-installed chair back seats available. The cost for a chair back seat is $250, plus a $25-$100 donation, depending on seating location. In both cases, Memphis has the most competitive pricing in the American Athletic Conference and is considered one of the best values in the country.

Memphis has seven home games this season, starting with a Labor Day weekend game on Saturday, September 3 at 6 pm against Southeast Missouri. The Tigers will also be home on Sept. 17 against Big 12 foe Kansas and on September 24th against Bowling Green. The conference home games include Temple on Thursday, October 6th on ESPN, homecoming against Tulsa on October 29th, USF on Saturday, Nov. 12th and Houston on Friday, Nov. 25th.

Tickets can be purchased online at GoTigersGoTix.com or by calling 901-678-2331.

RE: How many season tickets is this board responsible for
Season ticket sales is key, but if the best you can do is buy a ticket from a street vendor at $5 or $10, by all means, do so. Butts in seats is the next best thing!

If you can put aside $10 a month for ten months, you have a season ticket. That's about one movie or 4 coffees or a fast food meal.
