In response to my friend BinghamptonNed's challenge to raise our Season Ticket count for this season I would like to step up.

I no longer live in Memphis so I cannot attend every home game even though I wish I could. I will be lucky to attend 2-3 home games this season as I now live over 500 miles away from Mempho.

So here's my challenge to a TRUE Tiger football fan who would love to attend EVERY game but can't due to financial resources such as being a recent graduate or starting a family etc. My partner in this challenge MUST be comitted to filling seats with his/her own efforts

Even though I can't use the tickets my commitment to the program is to purchase 2 season tickets with chairbacks + 8 season tickets in the FUN ZONE

For my partner in this challenge you would receive:

1) The chair back seats for all games I can't attend myself. All home games minus the 2-3 I could attend

2) 8 additional FunZone tickets for ALL GAMES with the caviat to fill every seat with friends, family, or others who would love to attend but can't due to financial resources which you can not use personally.

If u have the financial resources to buy your own tickets please do not respond to this invitation. This is strictly for someone who loves the Tigers and wants to come to every home game who can't afford to do so at the moment.

This is a real offer but I want to partner with someone who truly will fill the 10 season tickets seats for every game. Not just the big games.

I appreciate all the responses and I wish I could do more and meet all the requests.

However, I got to know a great long time poster today who gives his free time to youth athletics in Memphis.

He had a comprehensive plan to allocate all 10 tickets within the youth sports program he's associated with.

We purchased the 10 tickets today and I'm excited about his plans to get kids at Tiger games who would not have the oppty otherwise.

The board member is free to share his plan to all but I am highly confident the investment is going to be used to help build more Tiger fans who we all hope will eventually become students at the U of M down the road.

If there is another compelling case with a detailed plan I am certainly open to getting a few more season tickets and/or recruiting other Tiger Alums to pitch in for more pre-paid season tickets.

We all want to see the Tigers get the B12 invite and I challenge everyone on our board to be considering creative ways to find sponsors to do similar things.

Use social networking, your bosses/companies/etc to get this thing done.

We need to be creative and find every resource possible to not only buy season tickets but to also get Butts in the Seats

This football season is the most crucial moment in the history of our program.

Spend more time, energy, and your money on this one season and it will pay off for the next 50 years.

We just have to GET IN. Once we are in the future seasons will sell out simply due to being in the P5
