Thanks I'm interested in what it will look like.

I had tried to find some a short while back and couldn't. The depressing part is that there doesn't seem to be any outrage from the fans about the lack of communication from the school.

Seriously, this could be n easy fix. Is there no one that lives nearby to go take a picture? Student? Beat writer?

While we did have a webcam for the NEZ (that you could sit for hours and stare at, but why would you do that unless you were bored out of your gourd?) but real, live people would actually take the time to go get and post updates every week or so.

I think the grand opening date has been moved up to August 2nd.

Honestly, didn't think any of our conference mates would be interested so why say anything to you guys? This pic shows part of the main foyer:

There have been Twitter photos posted fairly often the last few months in various accounts. There was also a webcam at the ULM athletic website during the construction but I think it's off-line now in the run-up to the opening. I'm looking forward to seeing it.

Also, there have been renovations inside Malone Stadium itself. The new football facility is in essence a continuation of all the areas under the west side of the stadium. We didn't need a new building to house EVERYTHING. We basically just needed a larger locker room for the team and suitable offices for the coaching staff. We already had everything else.

They are moving the locker rooms and stuff out there right? I remember they're under the stadium now.

Yes, lockers as well.

Why would you think we didn't care? We do have our pissing contest but any improvement for any of our schools is good for the SBC and overall impressions. I want to see (to see what we don't have)

Well in the future I am interested in all facility upgrades. That's a great start and I'm looking forward to seeing some more pictures.
