Talented group and nice that they are getting the preseason love they deserve based on their talent and accomplishments.

I also expect that when the real season starts the swarm of "disruptive" (all ready disrupted the A-State roster) ultra-talented newbies will began to grab a lot of the spotlight, and grab more than their share of post-season honors.

If these two talented group of players can mesh into a "team", A-State could have a special year. Certainly have the talent.

Know that most A-State fans don't count the returning injured players Justin Clifton, Bo Sentimore or Tajhea Chambers as being in either group, but in some since they are 'newbies'( especially Sentimore and Chambers) , and if healthy among their top 10 or so most talented players. All should start and all are strong candidates for post season honors at some point, and Sentimore this year.

The best news as far as newbies, and because QB play is the only open issue with this team, is that everyone is reporting that the returning players, and coaches are absolutely in awe of the talent, leadership, performance and effort displayed by the QB's in summer workouts, and the QB position is probably going to be the teams strongest position.

Should be a fun season, so enjoy.

I can see the case in both instances. Eligwe hasn't played a down for GS and Gallon is just about as valuable on special teams as he is defensively, which makes him overall a great player.
