Tulane
Tulsa
SMU
Colorado State
Boise

You never had any credibility in my mind to start with but Marshall? What a joke
Swap Marshall with NIU

Better?

Slightly at least, right?

The problem with Rice is their tiny enrollment.

But it is a great school with a great baseball program.

Also, I would be hesitant to take another C-USA school since a lot of the casual football fans already see the American as nothing but a newer version of C-USA. I'd rather take an Army or an Ohio or Northern Illinois than another current C-USA team.

Rice brings nothing.

They are just a body.

Adding Wichita and VCU actually add two solid basketball brands.

NEVER add unless THEY add. That just decreases our shares.

UAB!

There is no way that they ever get picked over the rest of us in the future.

it doesnt change the fact that tulsa ,navy and tulane (especailly with the new staff) need texas recruits especially if they want to win

and im sure smu would like a texas partner but at the same time wont want to elevate any newcomer, and rice (who they have a rivalry with) fit that description
also including that 60% of their roster is literally from houston, not kinding, the amount of houston kids on there roster for a dallas team is outlandish

adding another eastern team after losing a western team will burden the western division..especially since there isnt any home run eastern team

I like Rice to replace Houston. I like adding Wichita and VCU, if they're willing. If we lose more than Houston, then I think UAB should be considered.

Army for football, of course, if they're willing.

But I have a sneaking suspicion that the Big 12, as a P-5 conference, is doomed anyway. Indeed, SMU, Tulsa, Tulane and Memphis may find themselves in that conference eventually. To quote Rodney Dangerfield, "I wouldn't want to be a member of any club that would have me."

Football drives this bus. None of those schools are on the football radar.

UCF has around 70k living students. Hitting 80k once downtown campus is complete. 50k living alumni is tiny.
