For the exact same reason they give for not playing us in football. Nothing to gain, everything to lose.

They could still play us, and also schedule a P5 team. But they don't want to give up a buy game.

Once again for the cheap seats we should tell them and every other team in the sec to go fly a kite.

begging would be accepting anything less than a home and home. I don't think we've done that in quite sometime.

I know we have people here who like to keep an SEC opponent (ideally Ole Miss or Tennessee) on the football schedule, and while 17 Oct 2015 was nice and all, it was nice because of the stage, not necessarily Ole Miss.

I don't GAF about Ole Miss. Keep on with at least one non-SEC P5 opponent. I like UCLA coming to the Liberty Bowl in 2017.

We are about to have EIGHT P5 opponents every season, why would we possibly need to play more?! I think we go the $EC route and schedule buy games and one other P5 school.

Not a big football fan, but even I went to those games back in the day. I enjoyed the heck out of yelling at the top of my lungs telling them where to go. I'd hate to think of all those future Tiger undergrads having to miss out on all that premium alumni bonding. That was a big part of the overall college experience for me.

Will they be off probation by then?

I like playing Mississippi, but if we are fortunate enough to get to play 8 (or 9) Big 12 opponents a year, then I don't care if we never play them again.
