No nerve at all...just laughing at you since your school has screwed the pooch since it came over to this "power conference". We have shared a conference championship, a cruddy 7 win season and 3 NCAA bids during that time. Find new material, perhaps.

I always thought that the Univ. of Cincinnati was technically Ohio State at Cincinnati and that its name change from OSC to UC was fairly recent.

I can't tell if you're serious or not (heavily leaning towards not considering how ridiculous this board is outside of a few threads)...but Cincinnati is only two years younger than the state of Ohio and 51 years older than OSU.

UC is not older than the State of Ohio. UC was founded in 1819. Ohio became a state in 1803. Learn your civics.

Might want to actually read my post...I said that we are YOUNGER than the state of Ohio, which is most markedly NOT older...but keep going.

And yes ECU, coming from lowly CUSA 2 years ago has not performed to our standards but on the same note, Cincy coming from a BCS conference with all it's advantages has done just as poorly.

Let's be honest here, your school is benefiting from location, not so much football prowess. Which is great, mine will forever be hampered by its location.

I would argue only Houston is being looked at because of it's results on the field. Everyone else is location with the possible exception of BYU which would be their following and UCONN for their amazing basketball success.

Keep telling yourself all of that if it makes you feel better. We can revisit when this is announced.

Perhaps the SEC or ACC will come calling to Greenville someday.

Now that is hilarious, sucking? When was the last time ECU beat UC in football? When was the last time ECU played in a major bowl? When was the last time ECU made the NCAA tournament in basketball? When was the last time ECU mattered in anything? There was a reason you were only invited as football only, and only got the call after the C7 left. Why do you think that was? Has ECU won or shared any conference title in either football or basketball in the AAC? Yeah, did not think so. Suck on that underperformance clown boy.

Finishing 4th in the conference one year and then 5th out of 6 teams in a division the next year must define success for that ECU fan.

Your strawman comment is stupid. So the only successful campaign is 6 outright championships in football and basketball? Basketball has been business as usual. 3 trips to the NCAA tournament. This is a pretty big deal, but I understand why you are clueless about this accomplishment. It is quite a bit more difficult than making a cruddy bowl game. We have had a third, first, and sixth in football. Your school has yet to beat us in this conference or this century for that matter.

Well, I was certainly wrong when I thought that Bearcats football would be competitive in the AAC.

I still think OSUC has a nice ring to it.
