Colombia won the semi-final match, 4-3 in extra time. Natalia Gaitan scored the first goal. They play Argentina in the finals on Friday.

Colombia won the Pan Am Games championship last night with a victory over Argentina on penalty kicks. Both Gaitan and Echeverri made their PKs. This was the first time in Colombia's history to win a major international tournament. Congrats to Isa and Natalia.

Previous to this I think their big win was over France in Olympics. Maybe now Gaitan will get into the UT Hall. Long over due for an Olympian captain.
