Of course, you don't.

Most people don't leave 5 point games early.

You do remember the one in Boone last year, though. Don't you? Rewatch the game and you will hear the ESPN announcers talking about the crowd being run out of the stadium during the 3rd quarter.

Attendance smack to your reigning Sun Belt attendance leader?

Way to kick your own ass.

Box score has 20k and change at the 2014 ASU/App game on what I remember to be a beautiful day.

Our crowds are bigger than yours, monsoons and blizzards notwithstanding.

geez someone remembers the final score and not how App dominated all day, until prevent mode. You scored two TDs in the last few minutes to make the score look good, congrats.

Only people upset last year were the App fans hiding their faces as they ran to their cars, during the third quarter.

Were you there? Did you notice the crowd fleeing the stadium en masse? Were you one of those who scurried to their car?

ESPN noticed it. They even mentioned it on the broadcast.

It wasn't a very good look for the Sun Belt.

Don't flatter yourselves. For some unknown reason we have a large group of people who leave games early on regular basis no matter the score. Add to it being a Thursday night and people will leave. It's something many of our fans have been trying to figure out for years.

At least we had enough there to notice when people left. Most midweek games are empty for other teams.

doesn't Ark state's attendance take a major dive every year, about the time deer season starts? I mean don't act like your fans base is head and shoulders above everyone else in the SBC when your playing second fiddle to bambi.

Your bad fans were so bad that they've been banned. Not sure that's a good argument.

The dog days of summer are in full swing. stAte v. App v. Ga So. This thread looks like a three stooges fight. UL fans used to be in the mix but they must be too hot down in the swamp right now.

Glad to have someone to talk smack with while we are waiting for the season to start. I look forward to watching the two of you duke it out for second place!

I, for one, want them back in the mix. They took things to another level.

Going back to the OP, we will find out real quick if that was just clickbait. UT is not AL right now but their D linemen could make just about any roster. I pulling for the Appholes in that game btw. In laws are typical condescending SEC fans when it comes to football. UT has not won anything in decades but they still think they are right there will AL.

Obviously we want a win but if App is able to keep it inside 21 I'd be happy.

To dismiss Champan's absence isn't being honest. He played sparringly after being hurt early in 2nd qtr and was lost completely after the 1st series in 2nd half. Before Chapman went out App had 257 Yds and 21 points on 34 plays. After Chapman went out App ran 30 plays for 98 yards and zero points (before a meaningless TD drive against your subs to end the game) and punted 6 times. Our D got dog tired when the offense couldn't move the ball. To Anderson's credit he saw what was happening and shifted the offense into overdrive. Our guys were totally gassed by the end of the 3rd qtr. Of course the 2 gifts we gave you didn't help our cause. Take those away and we win 27-24. 03-yes But that's the way it goes. When Chapman went down we slid a all conference player to center and replaced him with a 5th year senior who lost his job to a freshman. We had no quality depth a year ago. Hoping this year is a different story.
