They are still pretty young, and only graduate 2 contributing players. One of the graduates is their only true right side, so that's a position they need to fill, but they have 2 solid outside hitters and several good middles. Their setter is only getting better and they have a good grouping of defensive specialists. I'm very much looking forward to next season.
Is our libertarian any good?
No, she was easily trumped...
Actually I'm not even sure what the libero or whatever does but I didn't see one mentioned.

Libero is a special defensive position. It was added relatively recently - in the 90s I think, to add more defense to the game. Liberos can only play back row, can enter and leave the game without restriction, while the other positions can only be subbed for so many times and they have to enter/leave in the same point in the rotation. Also, the libero isn't allowed to attack or block.
Ours is quite good yes. Honorable mention all-MAC. Only UT player so awarded. Volleyball is weird in that they just have 1st team and honorable mention - no 2nd team. Have no idea why they do it that way.

Still think it sounds like the voice between contralto and tenor : "And performing tonight as libero, Fernando Valducci"!

RE: UT Volleyball 2016
Rockets announce 2 more signees. Caleigh Barhorst and Rhyen Neal. Barhorst is an OH from Fort Laramie, OH (Jared Hoying's hometown, as I recall) and was 1st team all state, and won a state championship in HS.
Neal is the sister of BSU QB Riley Neal. She is listed as an OH, but at 5'7 is probably destined to be more of a defensive player at UT. Her team won an AAU national championship in 2015, and she was named MVP of that tourney.
