BYU board?
Does anyone know what most BYU fans use as a football forum, and if it's free?
I always like to chat with opposing fans.

That is just a joke of course, not trying to offend anyone.

Yeah but he asked for "free." I pray, I get this burning sensation or an unexpected bill in the mail. Sometimes both. Don't know what that's about.

Just searched for "cougar sports": worth checking out some of those sites. They have nothing to do with BYU but they're worth checking out. 04-jawdrop

Little known, they were originally the

Brigham Young Oblate Brethren University.

Well,

that got embarrassing, so they changed it.

RE: BYU board?
also cougercorner.com I've been on the boards a couple times over the summer and the posters were cool. I'm going to the game at BYU and wanted to get some insights on tickets, etc... The UT game for them comes off a stretch of Arizona, UCLA, Utah and W Virginia and right before Michigan St, Mississippi St and Boise. It also falls during some type of yearly mormon conference thing that typically sees thousands of mormons from around the country and world descending on Utah for meetings and such. So, their fans said that while UT will be a low profile game on their schedule it will still be a tough ticket. They usually fill about 60,000 of 65,000 or so seats. Last year's team played a freshman QB (older post mission guy) after an injury to their incumbent. If you don't remember he connected on 2 hail mary type game winning bombs early in the season. Size wise similar to us, although their all Polynesian DLine is a bit bigger than we usually face.

Their board is pretty confident about beating Toledo. Mostly because we are the 9th biggest name on their schedule. They figure if they win between 5-8 games, one has to be to Toledo. Honestly it should... But the schedule has trap all over it.

Most think Arizona, UC, Boise etc are much better than the Rockets. Need they be reminded that we probably would have beaten all 3 last season. Arizona IMO isn't that good.

We will be underdogs nonetheless. Elevation and a packed white out crowed will be a tall order! Anyone want to have a watch party somewhere for that one?

According to the ticket office, UT expects to have BYU tickets for sale July 20th. They were not sure if the price.

Kayak is your friend.

Toledo to Salt Lake

Play around with Thurs-Fri dates, Toledo or DTW and there's a range of departure-arrivals in the $290-350 range. A nice weekend hotel package and... yeah, tempting.
