I'm definitely taking the wait and see bit les miles could manage to make Drew Brees look like **** so I'll give the kid a shot. Best case he steps in and becomes a 2 year starter who was 9-3 record in the SEC...worst case he provides depth and adds a big fast freakish athlete to the team. Not much to lose on our part... Or his really... He graduated in 3 years so he has a life after football.

How is he eligible immediately? Is he a grad transfer with 2 years of eligibility left?

That's right. He played in 2013, 2014 and 2015, so he has one redshirt year (which I doubt he'll use unless he gets injured) and one playing year left.

He appeared in two games last year. Did not throw a pass or run with the ball in those two.

I don't think ASTATE is too far removed from comparable finances.

Should be a win-win for all, IMHO. I personally think he deserved better than what he got at the possum school, and wish him well. Not to well. Ha. And I still say the Cajuns lose to mcneese twice this year. ;-)

Graduate transfers seem to work out much better than your everyday malcontented transfers that tend to show up feeling entitled to playing time. Probably just a result of maturity. Anyway, I expect that Jennings will thrive at ULL this season IF Hudspeth allows his OC to run the offense.
