Toledo has suspended DT Marquise Moore, LB Jaylen Coleman and LB Anthony Davis for the first 2 games of the season (Arkansas State, Maine). They apparently violated athletic department rules. Moore and Coleman were projected starters.

Bowling Green has dismissed WR Robbie Rhodes. Rhodes was a transfer from Baylor and the Falcon faithful were pretty excited about him. Was a 4-star recruit coming out of HS. Violation of team rules earned him the boot.

Bowling Green's offense was prolific last year, but their loses have been significant:
Starting QB - Matt Johnson
4 starting receivers - Roger Lewis, Ryan Burbrink, Gehrig Deiter and Robbie Rhodes
Starting RB - Travis Greene
All-MAC O-lineman - Alex Huettel


Off topic: Former Bronco commit Jo-El Shaw, who eventually flipped to Syracuse, will be at junior college in the fall.

Marquis Moore missed all of last season for Toledo. He wasn't guaranteed a starting spot on the Rocket's DL being pushed by DT's LaMarr Davis and graduate transfer Earl Moore(University of Miami).
Jaylen Coleman had injury early in the EMU game and missed virtually the last 7 games of the season. Coleman's replacement Ja'WUAN Woodley was the Defensive MVP of the Boca Raton Bowl. Jaylen didn't participate in Spring Practice. LB'ers Richard Olekanma and graduate transfer Jeremi Powell(University of Florida) will compete for that starting spot.
