You must have a hard on for us, and it's Louisiana! I welcome Coastal with open arms, whatever makes the conference better, and next year we will have a great team in baseball, they still going to have to get through us.

It's still ULL's league in baseball until someone beats them. Now, I do think next year may be the first time that you see a preseason pitcher of the year come from a brand new team in the league (Beckwith, if he stays) and Coastal will get a lot more preseason poll respect than most new teams do, but its still the Cajuns league right now.

Yeah, I've thought the 11.7 scholarship limit for baseball is too low.

Also, the NCAA should provide more than they do since the CWS actually makes money. I suggested on our board that maybe they can award scholarships to all of the players that make it to the CWS, even if it is used to pay back student loans.

Unfortunately what needs to happen is the schools need to start pushing back to eliminate some of these sports that cost a fortune and generate zero revenue.
