your bball arena looks like a great place to watch a game

I truly is! With the metal dome ceiling, it can get extremely loud which is why many teams do not want to schedule home games with us. It's considered one of the nicer arenas under 10k seating in the country.
Western is a special place for basketball. I think only Temple in the AAC has a historical better winning %.

Doesn't Diddle seat 5 or 6K less now than it once did?....and the place was really made to be very nice and comfortable through he process?

Bowling Green is a neat place also. The Corvette plant and museum don't hurt the environment either. :)

Memphis and the Hilltoppers have met a few times and the games have always been very entertaining and usually close between 2 pretty good teams.

Here's some interesting reading if you're interested.......

Thank you for the kind words.
When attendance dropped nationally a while back WKU decided to reduce the seating in favor of a better looking and comfortable environment. The arena now seats around 7300 but could easily be brought back up to over 8k by adding some seating

That pic is very impressive. Honestly had no idea WKU had that much to offer. 04-bow It makes more sense now with the level of basketball recruits you have been getting. Well done.

What a former UH coach said when he was HC of the Houston Oilers applies to our situation:

"One year ago, we knocked on the door. This year, we beat on the door. Next year, we're gonna kick the son-of... in."

This new recruiting trend has most WKU fans on cloud 9! Never thought a new couch hiring could change things so rapidly. Exciting times with WKU basketball :)
