Does anyone know how Houston folk feel about "teh rivalry"

They teach their children about it. Houston kids always pretend they are playing Tulsa in the bakyard growin up. Its cradle to grave. Teh Rivalry

I always thought SMU would make a better arch-rival for us since we're pretty close geographically, academically, and size-wise. But Houston and Tulsa both have the whole "Oil Capitals of the World" thing going. So that kinda makes since too. They're both OK vs TX so they both have potential for good rivalries.

And our rivalry also includes the 2nd most points scored in a single game, when we beat you guys 100-9 (I think). It was so bad Dr. Phil became a phycologist lol.

I think UConn's games against Cuse and BC have potential to be compelling. I really hope UConn is undefeated going into week 5 at Houston.

I have a feeling that UH will not sleep walk into the game against UConn as they did last year. UH will be pissed about that one loss last year.

Another noteworthy moment in Teh Rivalry. First football game in the Astro Dome.

3 years of investigating and they found a whole $13k in non-cash benefits over 15 years. Whipee.

Didn't y'all ban yourselves from post-season play?

And if our offense can get clicking and our defense stays nasty, I think it could be a good game. I'm hoping for it to be surprisingly meaningful with both teams coming in undefeated with P5 wins under their belts.
