I don't believe Ryan Selig has any stars at any of the recruiting websites (24/7, Scout, Rivals, ESPN etc.). As a result, you wouldn't see us move any higher on school recruiting rankings. Generally, you'll see movement only with three star or better recruits.

We are now a spot ahead of South Carolina who has 4 commits, all 4 are 3*s. We have 6 commits on their site with 3- 3*s. So 247 must factor # of recruits or we wouldn't be ahead of SC.

It's A factor, but not THE only factor like some other sites. IMO 247 has always had the best composite rankings.

We still got a long way to go. Keep raising the bar. Let's hope Lester can do better than Fleck and company did.

Western is really going to have to work to keep Andre Carter and Jordan I think. The offers aren't going to stop for Carter, and he just got his first Big 10 offer today in Purdue. Jordan is getting some love from Louisville. I don't know if they offered or not yet, but if they are sending him edits with him as a future draftee from Louisville, have to think one is coming. I think that would be a tough offer to fend off.

Ronnie Buford from Chelsea commits to the Broncos. I wonder if he is any relation to Ray Buford who went to Minnesota a few years back.

Very pleased with Lester and company's recruiting so far. We're competing with (and winning against) top MAC schools for recruits, and a few of our commits have low-level P5 offers.

Buford looks like a raw, athletic prospect that has the potential to play multiple positions. Long arms and legs. Could turn into a solid DE with a year in the weight room.

Watch the video in that article and you can see Buford making a fool of those O-linemen.

I'm all about Buford being a Bronco. A lot of potential here. Especially if they can get him up to 240 or so by his redshirt freshman season.
