Someone correct me if I'm wrong but that's not how I remember the championship game ending. I remember Upshaw making an unbalanced shot with 3 seconds left on the clock then ODU tried a heave to Stith who was under the basket and DID MISS but it wouldn't have counted anyway because time had run out.

Weird they mention our two freshman that won't see much playing time and leave out three grad transfers set to make a big impact.

Kind of makes me question how much homework Jeremy Bowen did before composing the snippet on WKU. Only mentions two freshman who will have minimal impact but nothing about the 6 transfers who will make it basically a totally different team this season. That being said I think we finish higher than 6th.

actually Upshaw was at the line with 2.9 seconds and made two FTs to go up 55-53

go to the 1:54 mark to see the FTs and the end of the game...

That's right, free throws. Still, saying Stith missed a layup to end the game isn't really painting the full picture.

Us being 3rd is a bit optimistic. We will see.

These basketball previews are a joke....Picked up a Sporting News preview that has up picked 11th in conference, then picked up next mag. over Lindy's, who picked us 3rd..Basically no one knows what to do with WKU this preseason....WE have a lot of questions obviously but we have some talent and experience with all of our grad transfers playing this season...I think the late addition of Pancake is huge for us to make waves starting this season...
