Of the RS freshman, who do you think will contribute early and have the biggest impact?

2 Justin Tranquill DB 5-11 185 RFr. Huntertown, Ind.

16 Jon Wassink QB 6-2 200 RFr. Grand Rapids, Mich.
25 Obbie Jackson DB 5-10 155 RFr. West Bloomfield, Mich.
26 Davontae Ginwright DB 6-2 191 RFr. Southfield, Mich.
27 Paul Engram LB 5-10 221 RFr. Detroit, Mich.
71 Jonathan Todd OL 6-6 330 RFr. Mokena, Ill.
86 Keishawn Watson WR 5-11 180 RFr. Wheaton, Ill.

RE: Red-shirt freshman???
Tranquill, if healthy, is a playmaker. The coaches raved about Obbie Jackson this spring and he'll see time at corner (might be the starter across from Phillips). They like Watson too. I think Watson will get some passes thrown his way this year as Terrell spreads the ball around a bit more because of Braverman's departure.

I personally want to see what Giovanni Ricci can do. Big frame and fast (former track athlete).

Anton Curtis also deserves a mention. He's a redshirt freshman too. And that guy was a baller in high school. Could develop into a very solid receiver.

I'd add, Balabani DE- good measurables, bio indicates a lot of raw talent

Ekwode RB - came here injured after a high profile HS career. Could see some reps particularly if Bellamy moves to the slot

French OL - one of many solid Oline prospects. Had a boatload of offers coming out of Stevensville.

I'd agree on him too. Thin at LBer. Can see Grace and incoming freshmen Tristen Pipp seeing PT

Dip, French is from St Joe. Just letting you know so he doesn't hurt you if he finds out you called him a Lancer.

Bellamy not moving to the slot at least at this point
