the u will always be a 4.5k private school of thugs to me......no different than smu or jewlane.....do not confuse sports with academia....it's a slight of hand that some believe matters....'in your face' money drives the bus now....

wtf just happened there? That got weird real quick

I believe he's referring to the fact that some believe that Tulane is known as an HJCU. I'm not sure of that but I've heard it referenced before. We've never been in a conference with Tulane so I can't really speak to the student body makeup. I can share what I've learned on this board though.

I had read the term a few times on here or elsewhere. Not sure if its a term that jewish students use themselves. Here's a link to a site listing colleges that are most welcoming to those of the Jewish faith. Tulane is in the top ten in terms of student population makeup (32%). Nothing wrong with that.

he was never able to be very successful at wake, who would have expected him to be? Baylor is different, he will have unlimited funds, a larger talent pool to recruit from and a history of pretty much always being a better sports school than wake.

it's ironic how one simple spin causes a stir when that word is the acceptable term to describe a culture....

it's also ironic that a few weeks ago, the dominoes were falling and briles once thought he was insulated....

such is irony, eh?

are some of you figuring out the parallels how this and many others mimic the illusions of any grandeur yet?

how I do love watching it bite 'those' in the arse....

if there is such a thing as a redneck jew, I'm it....

if some can't handle non pc humor, so be it....

I don't pine for those easily offended....and the jewish culture is about as tough as they come....

Never had you pegged as a Jew. You drink like a Catholic and smoke weed like a Pentecostal teenager (think Kings of Leon).

I can't remember the last time I was offended by the Internet. Hell, one of my first visits every day is Reddit and if you want to get offended you sure can there.

I actually laugh at the name Jewlane. And I have zero animosity towards any member of the Jewish faith. It's just something I was unaware of until I saw it on this board over a year ago. But Tulane is pretty far from South Central Ky. I was ignorant that was a slang term for that I'm sure fine university.

But I'm even older than you Stink. My sons are 23 and 29 and I can't remember if they've ever been offended. Of course they had me as a dad that never spared anything around them. Their mother is deaf so she could never hear what I exposed them to. I have a first grandchild on the way in August so i'ma have to install a filter pretty soon. Or maybe not if it's a boy!
