I wish we were going to Raleigh for purely selfish reasons.

How are you complaining? It's a very winnable region, close to home.

Would you like to trade places?

I'm kinda surprised we got an invite. Always thought this team was a 3 seed at best once the the season played out. At last our first game will probably match us up with a fastball pitcher and not a slow, junk pitcher.

I'm not complaining about the regional just the fact we are always sent there. And when they don't host we get sent to UNC or SoCar. It's one of the main reasons why we almost never get out of the regional unless we host.

While teams down south can get the likes of ULL, Texas Tech, aTm, etc that aren't traditional powers and are more likely to lose.

A&M is probably the favorite to win it all. Teams down South also often end up at Rice, LSU, or TCU.

Statistics are stacked against you for making it to Omaha unless you host a Regional and then a Super Regional. It is never going to be an easy path especially with South Carolina, North Carolina, UVA, Clemson in our geographic footprint who have hosted on some years when they had unbelievable talent and a roster loaded with draft picks.

If we were going to UVA, this is certainly not a bad year to go. My preference is to host but shy of hosting I would almost liked to get shipped out West or to the Southeast for some random bracket. No matter what the bracket or location we just seem to add to our dubious record of having played the most NCAA Tournament games without a trip to Omaha

We don't have the tools to go to Omaha this year without some miracle run of having 3-4 games in row like we played vs NCST in Greenville. I love Cliff and anybody is going to get us to Omaha it will be him but he needs to recruit more Arms, more quality bats, solid defense etc... basically the same things ever team needs to make it to Omaha
