About as solid a draw as we could have asked for.

Coastal got a deserving trip to Raleigh in a very winnable regional. Hope W&M knocks off UVA in Charlottesville.

To "many" UNCW fans, it doesn't matter. If you've got a problem with UNC, that's cool. I personally don't.

UNC didn't deserve a bid whether W&M won the tournament or not. It's pretty irrelevant in my mind.

Carolina is an interesting case. Great RPI, they ended up sub 20, but faltered in league play. When you look at them, from what I saw, they pitch the ball well but didn't generate a lot of runs typically. The bottom line is that if you can't play decent ball in conference, it's going to hurt you. They had a VERY tough neighborhood.

Looking at other 3 seeds like what UNC would have been.....you could make a case that they should replace ECU because they crushed ECU 2x when they played. However, UNC started strong, but finished weak. One more win and they probably were in. They lost to UNCA at home and that really hurt them. They did split with UNCW and I believe lost at home to Coastal as memory serves. Now kicking out ECU would have been good for me. And, I never cared either way (actually pulled for them back in '91 to do well in football) about ECU until StillJonsing/Ory and all their idiot fans made me pull against them.

What do you have against William and Mary? You've made a few comments saying how we aren't deserving of a bid. We won the CAA fair and square, and have a pretty good (~100) RPI. Sure, we're not a baseball powerhouse, but we're better than plenty of the other conference champions who made it in.

Don't pay him any mind. He does the same thing to us. He's just waiting for someone to take the bait.

CGH06 is right. He rabble rouses here all the time. If you want him - you can have him. We certainly wouldn't miss having him around.:)
