AAC schools in movies & TV
Since we are still about 100 days from the start of the season I thought I'd start a fun topic.
Has your school ever been featured in a movie or TV, in any capacity?

I'll start.....

University of Houston

Movies

Arlington Road- College scenes were filmed at UH

Casino- Flashback scene were Robert DeNiro's character is taking bets on College Football games. They have UH/Ole Miss game on the board with the line

Boyhood- Patricia Arquette's character takes classes at the University of Houston and she ends up marrying a UH professor

Independence Day- After the aliens have occupied many US cities, President of the US decides to destroy a city to destroy the aliens. He selects Houston. They show a sign for the University of Houston right before they blow it up.

Any Given Sunday- Jamie Fox's character, QB Steamin Willie Beaman, played his college ball at the University of Houston.

Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room: obvious reasons

The Lovely Bones- Written by former UH grad student, Alice Seybold

Being Flynn- Movie about the life of Nick Flynn (Robert DeNiro), a UH writing teacher.

TV

30 for 30/ Survive and Advance- Phi Slama Jama is featured.

Reba- Reba's character is an alum of the University of Houston. In one episode, she is trying to convince her daughter's boyfriend, the star football player, to accept a football scholarship to the University of Houston.

That's all I can think of right now...

Cincinnati was mentioned more than a few times in the Clooney/Gosling movie Ides of March, which was also filmed extensively in Cincinnati.

I don't know if any filming was done on location but Boardwalk Empire made quite a few references to Temple and even had a scene with a character singing the fight song.

Mannequin 2 . The main character has a Temple football poster hanging in his room

Boardwalk Empire - Nucky's nephew goes to Temple , sings the "real" Temple fight song .

Temple Marching Band appeared in the remake of Annie and (half naked) in The Wolf Of Wall Street.

Cosby show . Enough said .
