RE: Over/under regular season wins
Give me the over on the Blue Raiders, less than eight wins would be a major letdown.

So you're counting Elon and EMU, where's the definite 3rd win?

I can see anything from 4-8 to 8-4, so this is probably a good line.

Either ODU, UTSA, FAU, or FIU. We essentially played last year with no QB and Kalif Phillips hurt half the year. Most returning starters in CUSA and solid depth on the DL, I'd be surprised if we can't get 3 wins.

You do realize that ODU also struggled with QB issues and is returning a large majority of their starters. You guys need to realize you are not the only team that had issues and will be improving this season. Almost all of those teams you listed will be improved. Not saying Charlotte wont get at least 3 wins, I think they are a good bet to get more then that. I just don't think you should say any of those four listed are "definite" wins.

I'll take the over on ODU with wins over Hampton, UMASS, UTSA, UTEP, FIU, and FAU coupled with another upset or two. I think this will be a breakout year for the Monarchs.

But then again, I'm not only a homer but also the eternal optimist.

04-cheers

I didn't say any specific team is a guaranteed win, I just stated we will beat at least 1 of them and maybe 2.

My mistake. I agree, I think Charlotte will be much improved this year. 04-cheers

I agree Aggie. Obviously a homer pick, but I think based on some reasonable expectations. Defense will be more than respectable, may emerge as a force. Offense will be improved as long as Washington stays healthy. I also expect the kicking game to be improved to the point they might be counted on to win us one.
Bottom line- way out on a limb with 7 wins.

Wku could either be amazingly good this year or pretty average. With what we have returning I'm optimistic but I know how things can change.

+1. I'm not going to guarantee a win over anyone else specifically, but out of FAU, FIU, UTSA, ODU and there's no reason to think at a minimum we won't win at least one of those. If Olsen turns out to be what we all hope he can be, then several more wins are possible. Of course that is coming from someone with all the bias of a homer 03-wink
