Why would we? There is an A-State message board for that. This is the SBC board. I never read those threads up top, I just habitually skip over them. If I am curious about what is going on at another SBC school, I go to their message board(s).

Same here . . those Insider threads are just wasted space IMHO.

Ditto. I haven't looked at an Insider thread in ages.

But I do like to see the noteworthy stuff about the other schools. If you get a P5 transfer, I find that noteworthy. What your coach thinks of a practice...not so much.

Yeah, can we get rid of the INsider threads or at least hide them in a sub board? They don't see any action and they take up WAYYYY too much space on mobile.

I put things up there that really don't merit a whole discussion thread. If you choose not to look, fine.

I do think some things just don't deserve to be threads down here. There isn't much to say about capital improvements or what our pro players are doing, being traded, etc.

I also think a lot of the INsiders are slacking.

Transfers are hit and miss just like HS and JC recruits. We have had tremendous success with transfers like Jarboe, David Oku, Brandon Joiner, Adam Kennedy, etc. We have missed on some with Michael
Dyer as the prime example.

Taking a transfer who could not get on the field at a lower rung P5 is usually not a great idea. Taking a talented guy who got in some trouble but can get his act together usually works out best. Take someone who has shown he can compete at a high level and left for whatever reason. Taking a guy who was improperly evaluated out of HS and was ushered out to make room is not usually fruitful.
