OT: "other" baseball tournament games of interest
With CUSA trying to get 4 or possibly 5 teams (depending on who wins CUSA) in NCAA Regionals, here's a look at who I feel like we need to/not to win some of the other tournaments to give us the best chance of getting at least 4 in. I'm only putting conferences that have a realistic chance of getting multiple bids IMO.

AAC - we need Tulane or ECU to win it
ACC - Boston College (37) was only one in ACC tourney who is borderline at large and they lost a play-in game already
BIG12 - we need Texas Tech, TCU or Okie St to win it
BIG10 - Michigan or Nebraska
Big West - NO conference tournament....Cal St Fullerton (42) and Long Beach St (52) play what could be an elimination series this weekend. UC Santa Barbara (19) a lock
Sun Belt - need Lafayette (18) to win it. South Alabama (41) is only other in top 50
MVC - need Dallas Baptist (32) to win it as no others in top 50
Southland - Sam Houston St (43), NW State (44) and SE La (46) only ones in top 50
Big West - Gonzaga (31) and BYU (47) are only 2 with at large hopes but don't see where/when their tournament starts or if there's even one
PAC12 - NO conference tournament.....top 2 teams play this weekend in a "win and advance series" between Utah (99) and Washington (50), Oregon St (48) host UCLA (92). ASU (38) host USC (93). Arizona (25) is a lock....FWIW Utah could win the PAC12 automatic bid as REGULAR SEASON champs with an overall losing record, and would be .500 only if they sweep this weekend.

A lot of prognosticators think that BC is definitely in. The interesting one in the ACC will be UNC, who did not make the tournament but has an RPI of 16.

Will be interesting to see how Georgia fares with a 27-30 record and a current RPI of 35 as they are already done in the SEC tourney

The Southland could be going from 3 possible teams to 1 but there's still plenty of baseball to play:

NW State lost to McNeese St
SE La losing to UNO 4-3 in the 9th

ECU might have taken a hit in the AAC tournament. Not sure of the format but they've lost their first 2 games to USF (158) and Memphis (214) and ECU currently sits at 36. At this point we definitely need Tulane to win the AAC to help our chances of getting a 4th or possibly 5th team in.

**EDIT**
Saw on the AAC board where ECU is eliminated from their tournament. We still need/want Tulane to win IMO

They're done. You can't get in sub-0.500 unless you're a conference champ.

Nebraska went 0-2 while Michigan is currently 1-1. Regular season champ Minnesota (54) lost to Michigan in an elimination game today FWIW so it looks like we aren't getting much help there.

All 3 won their 1st round games. TCU and OSU are in same side of the bracket

Houston sent Tulane into the loser's bracket today, 5-3. The Green Wave faces UCF Friday at 11 a.m. (Eastern time) in an elimination game.
