Microsoft is sneaking Windows 10 conversions
Under the guise of the normal Windows 7 update, Microsoft has started this weekend (May 22) to require an opt-out of the update for Windows 10. This is a stark departure from their previous opt in request.

I got caught and had 10 installed but when the legal "agreement" was presented, I declined and 7 was reinstalled.

If you have an older machine that you don't mind playing around with, I would suggest putting Ubuntu Linux on it and playing around with it. That's what I did to get comfortable with the OS. My newer machine is a Win 10 machine, but I do have a Linux Virtual Machine running on it as well. I'm not sure why the hate for Win 10; I like it a lot more than 8 and 8.1. Agree that it is a sh!tty thing to sneak in upgrades though.
