I'm usually not one to defend Martin, but he was the first to break news of the Fuente hiring. So he had to have had some sort sources to do so. I don't remember many people mentioning Fuente as a candidate after Porter was let go.

He also got made fun of for the 100% not going to Memphis thing, but Austin Nichols was his source for that, so...

He seems like a good kid that has as bright a future as you can have in a field like his that's become as filled with uncertainty over the past 20 years. He's still a kid. But he mostly seems pointed in the right direction on everything. I really don't get all the hate for him (or any of the local guys really, except Weinberg, is Weinberg still going?, but Weinberg was a professional troll before trolling was really a thing, and the Rainman too, but he's mostly just boring).

they jealous of the fact they got a 9-5 and those guys get paid to talk about and attend sporting events. Hell, I am jealous too but not so petty I am going to lash out at them on a message board because of that jealousy.
