I have nothing against Waggoner. I don't know anything about him. I said he was the Coach of the Year. I just thought he made a bad decision the other night in using his #3 starter. I couldn't have cared less about that, though.

This was the only thing he's done to make me not like him. Kid should have been told that his heart is appreciated but he can't start less than three days after throwing 114 pitches.

The kid was pitching his last baseball game ever. Senior. No pro aspirations. Wanted the ball. And only allowed 3 unearned runs. Two misplayed balls in top of first kept there from being a second game today.

That said, best wishes tomorrow and through the postseason. Hope you win it all.

USM's starting pitcher for today's championship game has made 5 appearances on the season and has pitched 5 innings with a 9.00 ERA. Rice is going with Amador who has 16 appearances and 6 starts, an ERA of 6.23 and 34.2 innings on the season.

That's a double in my opinion for USM

I highly doubt either lasts too long.

USM has only scored 1 run in the last 15 innings....we scored 3 in inning 1 Saturday and the only run since then was on the passed ball in the 5th today.
