AState scores 9 runs combined in the 8th and 9th innings tonight to come back from an 8-3 deficit and beat Little Rock 12-10

The win clinches the final spot in the SBC Tournament for the Red Wolves, and thus eliminates ULM and Georgia State. This is our league leading 7th straight tournament appearence.

2nd time in 2 weeks we came back from at least 5 runs in down late. Rubber match with Little Rock tomorrow afternoon is meaningless, but would give us a chance to win I believe 13 of our last 14 series with the Trojans.

Coastal has won the first 2 games vs Campbell, final game today. We won easily in the first game but the second game was more of a struggle. We were down 5-1 but ended up winning 6-5. The feel-good story of the game is senior Anthony Marks hit his first career home run - from tee-ball to college - with his mom, grandma, and aunts in attendance to ignite the rally.

Little Rock is locked into the #3 seed.
Arkansas State is locked into the #8 seed.
Louisiana and South Alabama will be the #1 and #2 seeds. Order to be determined today.

After that it gets a little murky.

Troy can finish 4-5-6
Georgia Southern can finish 4-5-6
Texas State and UTA can finish 5-6-7

I think I have that right, but I remember I was wrong once.

Top 2 seeds are locks for the NCAA I would guess so if somebody else wins the tourney 3 teams make the field

We are--with a win today and and BS tourney win--going to host in my opinion

Will either make of top 2 seeds in sun belt host

I'd like to see ULL and South host as well.

I think I have that right, but I remember I was wrong once.

I believe UTA can be the fourth seed if they win (breaking the current tie with TXST), Georgia State win (giving UTA the better record with Southern) and USA wins (UTA has the tiebreaker with the Trojans).

If TXST beats UTA today Troy will be the 4 seed, TXST will be the 5 seed, GS will be the 6 seed, and UTA will be the 7 seed.

If UTA beats TXST its a bit more confusing.
