Thought it was interesting that a network nobody ever mention appears to be a 4th TV partner in the new CUSA media picture. BeIn Sport announced a partnership with CUSA. We tend to always think in terms of Fox, ESPN, NBC-Sports, and CBS-Sports Network. Kinda of interesting when you find other players are out there. That said, according the the 2015 numbers, BeIn is in less than 20 million homes, but it apparently does have a streaming platform its quite proud of. That could be a welcome option for many CUSA fans who complain about the limited availability of CBS-Sports and ASN games.

No worries here as I watch La Liga as well.
Are they shown mostly in the morning anyway? Or are there some afternoon games?
This is a good move for BeIn to get more domestic programming to get more demand possibly.
Given the time difference games can start as early as 6 am (rarely) or as late as 2 pm (more common for high profile matches that start in prime time in Spain).
This quote from the network press release pretty much sums things up. Choose wisely when throwing around the names of schools that should be added to the AAC.
“Conference USA doesn’t have any national powers in football or basketball–schools in the conference include Western Kentucky, Middle Tennessee, Southern Mississippi and Old Dominion–but American football is the top TV sport in the U.S., and the move could help the network boost its viewership on Saturdays this fall.”

Whatever works!!! I like the streaming capabilities and much better than trying to figure out what random ASN channel a game happens to be on on any particular date.

Ehhhh----I think what their saying is even CUSA football will move the needle when the needle is currently only averaging 19,000 viewers (19K is the current average number of viewers watching BeIn Sports during the day).
The average CUSA game was getting viewership numbers around 70K-100K. That's 4 or 5 times what BeIn's current programming is averaging. A good game CUSA might get 10-20 times BeIn's current average viewership of 19K. Twenty times 19K is 380k. CUSA had a few games hit that range or above. Given that BeIn is probably only paying a million or two at most---its a no brainer. The reality is, as CUSA fans add the channel to watch their favorite team, the increase in their subscriber base alone will likely make the deal a good one for the network.

ESPN Networks: 5
CBSSN: 5
ASN: 25-30
BeIN: Unknown currently

I think you mean article. That doesn't read like a press release and BeIN hasn't officially announced it yet to my knowledge.
considering it is leftover material, it is a good deal for CUSA and Belin. For Belin it is pretty cheap content to air, that may will double the normal viewers.
and for CUSA it is TV and a bit of $$$. WIN WIN
