So wait, did they do anything to the restrooms? Those (as mentioned before) had a certain Tiger Stadium / Cleveland Municipal "charm" last season...

One is brand new- south end. Already acquiring an "ambiance".

North restrooms looked exactly the same except for a fresh coat of paint and refinished floor by my estimate.

I laughed when someone mentioned it used to feel like you were being herded like cattle under those stands, that's so true. The gates look amazing. The rust is still there and very prevalent on the outside of the stands.

Now we just need to get rid of that old school advertising on the east side and get an LED ribbon board!!

need better material to stop rust in the future. that place should look way better than it does

RE: East side of Glass Bowl renovation/construction thread
The East side renovation is nice. It is a very comfortable meaning well lit, spacious, and the new fence and stone work is very nice. Removing the wall between first and second decks adds to the fan experience. It is easier to keep track of the game if you need to move about. The only disappointment is the pig trough urinal experience. I was hoping that would be addressed. I did not notice a mens restroom on the southern east side. Did I miss that?

Regardless, the upgrade was well done.

Mens restrooms on the SE corner are entirely new, urinals, not troughs. Love the brick & wrought iron (look) fence. Much more spacious and well lit. Finally a student who could math & didn't need to use a calculator to figure out that 6 $3.50 drinks =$21. All huge improvements!!! New turf looked good too, but seemd to be some slippage going on out there.

Could have been slippery from the rain.

At least there wasn't shrinkage.

The painted areas are a bit slippery I've been told.

The new men's bathroom is awesome (I'd imagine the woman's is the same). I wouldn't normally generalize bathrooms as awesome, but this one is. It's huge, well-lit, reminds me a lot of a professional stadium's bathroom.

Stadium looks great! Nice to see the Rockets win. Just wish people had a little more consideration without bringing so much crap that they took up a lot more room than their tickets allowed.

Wasn't a siren was it?

The Mud Hens managed concessions could work out. My go to will still be SW Corner Grill people because they put it out there in quality and did it at a risk I would suspect. My line-up would probably be reduced menus from Sam Marcos, Packos, SW Grill people ( I'm still craving that Viet sandwich they put together), Swarmaholic, ANY pizza place that put an oven in at the GB, even a metal oven but preferably Gino's or Marco's, Rice Bowl cuz sushi and football, emm.... Chik-Fil-A, and a couple regular and reasonably price burger/dog, firies and drink combo meals. And some pop-corn from a more recent century and hot chocolate that was hot.

For six home games a year?

Bring a food truck. Rotate them for each game

Good idea. When they re-do the fence, design it so the trucks can pull up, a gate flops down. Bingo, portable concession stands.
