Another testimony to schedule up.
Have read from Beavers and Moten the fact that playing the big boys makes a huge difference in both the demand for their skill level and the experience. References made to OSU and MSU.
Listening to Mel Kiper during the draft his oft repeated comment re Braverman was that though he dropped some balls he played very well against the best competition, pointing to OSU and MSU. 23 receptions or so and was pulling away from every OSU defender all of which whom were drafted.
So to have scheduled others would have meant less recognition, less of an opinion of WMU would have resulted. Two losses. So what. Anyone with half a brain knows that you don't get better by competing against the least.
