The agreement with the Liberty Bowl this year gave control to the University (through the TSF) for those additional spots.

How the TSF will determine who will get the chance to purchase those spots is up to them since they now own them via the Liberty Bowl.

Just re-enforces the fact that you may have been better off purchasing your spot in the beginning by being a member of the Highland Hundred which, by agreement, has the rights to the majority of spaces on Tiger Lane.

Not if HH doesn't start paying insurance premiums on them-the University will take them over.

That's the next one to go.

No you have to pay more and BE A NEW DONOR. A $5k new donor who only buys 2 BB season tickets GETS priority over a $2,500 donor who has given that amount (or much more) for twenty years in a row and bought as many as 17 combined BB and FB season tickets. It's a horrible system and Bowen put it in place.

So, a new $5,000 donor will get priority over an old $5,000 per year donor?

RE: Who should get priority?
Many schools have priority point systems where past donations are rewarded, but at a lesser degree than the current donation amount.

Yea, I don't expect the HH to hold onto those spots for much longer.

I think I misphrased that-think it goes to TSF points for tiebreaker but not 100% certain.

Not as blatantly as our current system that IGNOREs decades of contributions, etc.

Did they get rid of this plan, where you get points for previous years of ticket purchases?

Priority points still appear to be based on that... I donate $1,000 a year (only in the past couple of years,) which is equivalent to 20 priority points/year. My total prior points are 245, which includes donations and ticket purchases since I graduated and started buying tickets for myself (so around 15 years.)

So if you were a brand new donor and wanted to pass me in the priority points, you would have to donate $12,251. I'm totally OK with that.

If we get in the B12, then do we even need the HH anymore? I would say the club has served its purpose, and let it die.

I say this as a current HH member.

05-stirthepot what Administration is that?

The Highland Hundred is a great organization, we need a bigger Highland Hundred instead of no Highland Hundred.

A couple of years ago I met some buddies (I think HoopDreams was there) for some beers at Dan McGuiness on Spottswood. Unbeknownst to us, there was some sort of Tigers event. HH members filled the bar and Fuente came in right before he was scheduled to speak to the group.

He gave a speech and then bolted for the door. Unfortunately for him, one of the real aggressive members caught him before he could make his getaway. He was visibly uncomfortable.
