Rick, Tubby Smith has been an NCAA head coach for 25 years...he's confident we'll get that waiver, so I wouldn't worry about it.

If he gave a damned about being an AC, then he has had two years to:

1. Learn to recruit
2. Learn to put together a scouting report
3. Learn to watch film and develop a game strategy
4. Learn how to run a practice

If the story published about him not being able to do the above is true, then I feel sorry for the other two AC's who have to pick up 50% more workload because someone wants a title without putting forth the work that goes along with it.

He's getting paid to recruit in his own home, and he has pre-existing relationships with the recruits that live there.
