I'm glad Tech is showing up well, but why does CUSA continue to hold this tournament in Arkansas?

Texarkana Country Club is only considered in Arkansas because it happens to exist just on the Arkansas side of the state line. That town is strange, you might work on the Texas side, live on the Arkansas side, send your kid to school on the Texas side, and go grocery shopping on the Arkansas side.

That town is all Texas, and as far as I'm concerned, Texas can have em.

All the things you could possibly go to Texarkana for are on the Texas side.

Texas has no state income tax. Arkansas does. To stop a complete exodus of residents from the Arkansas side to the Texas side, Arkansas passed a law freeing Texarkana, AR residents from the Arkansas state income tax.

Pretty much. As USMBacker mentioned, Arkansas had to issue an income tax exemption for their side of the city to keep residents from simply moving to Texas.

I mean, I guess you can call it Arkansas because it is indeed in Arkansas, but its a Texas city. The only thing that galvanizes the Arkansas residents down there is the annual football game the High Schools on each side of the line play against each other.

North Texas had a Mexican national who was awesome a few years back. What ever happened to him ? Is he playing professionally now ?

I cannot remember his name.

ortiz has struggled this year, missed his last few cuts, but he is on the tour. sebastian munoz (graduated last year) is currently in 4th of the web.com tour rankings and looks to earn his card for next year.

Charlotte Men's Golf has been to the NCAA Tourney 11 of the last 12 years, including 3-4 trips to the "finals", but they will need to rally today to position themselves well to get in this year.

Why isn't FAU on top? Isn't that golf heaven down there? And why doesn't FIU have a team?
