IIRC, the last series was a five game series with vandy with three at vandy, one at MT, and one in Bridgestone Arena in Nashville (which turned out to be a huge home court advantage for MT). The win over Michigan State is apparently paying dividends if vandy has come off its ridiculous previous stance on a series.

I've always wondered why Memphis and Vandy don't play more...we have a good working relationship with Ole Miss and State...kinda sorta with UT...but we rarely play Vandy, and they're only 3.5 hours away.

We should play UT, Memphis and Vandy every year in every Major sport. Baseball is the only major sport in which we have an annual meeting with these other In State Division 1 adversaries. At least Vanderbilt has been willing to play us in FB and MBB as well in recent years; but they always seem to act like they are doing us a Big Favor.

I'm not sure I'd want any of them on the FB schedule every year, let alone all three. You're dreaming if you think UT would ever play football at Floyd and personally I wouldn't want to host them at our current capacity even if they were willing.

I'd be good with one of Memphis or Vandy every year, maybe both in the same year on occasion.
