The same is probably true for recruits on each teams 2017 class.

Star Recruits: Those above 0.8500 on 247Sports.

UCF - 6
Memphis, UC - 4
UH, USF, SMU - 3
ECU, Tulsa - 1
Navy, UConn, Tulane, Temple - 0

Looks like UCF put us all to shame. Wait till next year.

It's true. UCF staff can't stop crying and eating ice cream.

You eat that ice cream like a boss

Like I should tell you how to eat ice cream?

I really like Houstons class, we arguably have the best ever G5 dline ever assembled

We extremely undersigned but it was on purpose, applewhite said a trend is a ton of touted players are trying to transfer back to their hometown (aka Duke catalon, chance allen , Kyle allen)..so we saved 4 scholarships for that

We expect to target a grad transfer Cb and OLine be the best 2 of any other type of transfer available

The Navy perspective:

No Naval Academy student athletes are on athletic scholarship. All are on the same ride as every other midshipman. We have 69 commits; we have 0 athletic scholarships going out.

In a league filled with great recruiters, Scott Frost outshines them all.

Comparing this years class to last years, we would have been second only to Herman. And we don't need to worry about him anymore.

Charlie Strong is a good recruiter, so we'll see next year.

So how does that work out in terms of who makes the team, does Navy do a try out of all incoming freshman who have committed to see who does?

Applewhite is a great recruiter.. We only signed 18 and finished top 4 in the AAC.. Most of everyone in our staff only joined 1 months ago

In that 1 month ago signed a ESPN 300 DE

Frost had one month to recruit last year and finished with a higher overall ranking and average recruit rating than the coogs this year...

I believe most of them with end up at the Naval Prep Academy and about 30 will actually be on the Navy roster
