You didn't flip him. He decommited almost 2 months ago lol.

And we had been working on him at the time. He was committed one place, and then, due to recruiting, he went to another place. That's a flip to me.

Eh ok. Good for you guys. I am good as long as we keep the higher rated OK kids.

I wasn't looking very closely, but the guys Memphis seems to have grabbed are from the west side of the state over by OKC. It's not super frequent that we go over there to recruit. The east side usually has the powerhouse schools comparatively, not that the Memphis commits are bad.

Well ones a 4* and the other 3 are 3*. They are all likely to end up at Memphis.

Mays isn't a huge loss because we literally have a class full of CBs and Safety. We are looking for just one more juco safety to go with our returners and redshirts.

I will warn you. Be careful with 247 and Oklahoma Recruiting. Like I said before they have Shamari Brooks ranked incredibly poorly. He won state player of the year honors in the biggest HS division and ran for 2000+ yards this season and a state championship. They don't seem to always do their homework.

Stats can be misleading in high school. Not saying he's a bad player, just that statistics don't translate nearly as much as skills do. Akise Teague was the same way a few years back in Ohio...and so is Michael Warren this year. Kid has 2,700 rushing yards and 45 TDs and over 7,600 yards and 100 TDS in his career and he's going to Toledo because he's just not all that 'special' of a talent.

I've seen that happen, but usually it has more to do with a decently moderate kid playing at a lower division HS where the kids are all a bit less talented. Like there was a kid who set the state record for passing who's now at N. Texas.

But Brooks played at one of the best HS's in the state and he dominated the top talent in the state. If he doesn't have the skills to play, I'd be surprised considering it was all those highly ranked Memphis players that he was blowing by. lol

Um ok? I will take these high rated players added to the East Tennessee kids we picked up and be quite happy with our class. We are recruiting on Houston's level as far as talent and can't wait for them to get to campus and mature through the process.

Tulsa just picked up our first 2018 commitment with dual threat QB Jace Ruder out of Kansas. He's 6'3" 205 lbs and a Rivals 3 Star (5.7) and their 12th ranked dual threat Qb in the country. Seems like a solid pick up. Plus Tulsa has had great success with QBs that have a 4 letter 1st name and a 5 letter last name (Paul Smith, Dane Evans) for what that's worth!

Looks like Houston has lost some recruits. Went from 1st to 3rd in the conference, according to 247

I noticed that too. I look at Texas to see if they gained much and they did yet not that many overall recruits to this point, just a lot of 4 star recruits.

We've lost 4 or 5 in the past couple weeks, and there are a couple more that are soft verbals that we also expect to lose. It isn't pretty.

Unfortunately Ruder is 2018 instead of 2017 is a real dual threat with 4.45 speed. Also runs track.

I think him being 2018 is ok, as long as Chad President turns out to be the qb we all hope he will be (although he hasn't even won the starting job for next year yet).

President should have 3 years left. So you bring in Ruder for 2018, redshirt him, and then he's ready to go in 2019 after President graduates. That would be an ideal situation I think.

Herman stole Oklahoma State's best OL commit yesterday as well, kid from the San Antonio area.
